Thanks to Sabot, Kraut and the rest of the OKCAG crew for a great day of Airsoft. I am way too tired to write up a proper AAR so I will just post some of the pictures I was able to snap later tonight.

Just wanted to thank everyone for a great day. I had a freekin blast just being a player, getting trigger time and engaging in some good battles. The play was fair and excellent from both sides and the terrain out there made it more interesting. I like the water washed ravines and ditches. I managed to meet some new guys and was also able to chat with some old friends, yea some of them were even dirkas... Being un-employed has given me a "little" more time to play airsoft but having no money sucks...Oh well, I guess you can't have both.

Ok, All morning I shot about 5 mags and that was over a period of about 3 hours. Double and Triple tapping every shot to make it count. My battery suffered pretty hard in the cold and it sounded like it would die at each shot. Amazingly, everyone called hits on the single to triple burst and no hozing was required. During Lunch, the battery got a quick charge from Rowdy’s car charger and BAM! it was ready for action. In one of the last scenarios I managed to shoot all my mags but one and a half (was carrying 10). Killed every Green I could and even a few Tan...Well, they were coming in from the wrong (green) side and I needed more targets. It was a great day for shooting it up. :D

The VFC 416 performed great (besides the battery) on its first time out. The hopup seemed very touchy as just a touch of a turn would result in Major changes. Spent most of the day "tweaking" and fine tuning the exact trajectory that I like. Before we left it chronoed at 396 to 401.2 with one random high of 406 and that was with TM .02 BB's on Sabot's cool chrono. Oh yea, It is much heavier than the ol CA M4...

The new Multicam Blackwater I-O Zip vest was great. It was very comfortable and I seemed already used to it as it did not feel foreign or cramp my style in any way. Very Impressive. Multicam rocks in the terrain out at Jacksonia.

I took a few pics... and Yes, there is a spot on the camera lens, Damn.

Thanks to all the Kashi crew for coming down. It was nice to see some of you again and meet the rest. It was a great start to the year. Hopefully we can get some convoys going to Kashi to share the love.
